My Dad was a World War II Veteran as were both his brothers and one of my Aunts (by marriage). So every son my Grandparents had enlisted in the service. They never spoke much about the war but they wore their uniforms proudly when an occasion called for it. My Mom and Dad were members of the American Legion for all the years I can remember, always giving back to others.
